Dr. Thomas Wong

Dr Thomas Wong obtained his D.V.M. in 1979 from Universiti Pertanian Malaysia (1979) and his Masters in Environmental Science from UNIMAS in 2005, focusing on Sustainable Land Use and Water Resource Management.

He served as a veterinarian in the Sarawak Agriculture Department from 1979 to 1984 doing clinical, preventative herd and flock health work, livestock development and veterinary extension. He has worked with farmers from as far north as Merapok, Ba Kelalan and Long Semado in Lawas district; inland to the Orang Ulu longhouses of the Long Jaweh, Long Bawang and the Long Murum communities and south of the state to the interior of the Long Lemanak and Batang Ai tributaries, as well as dealing with commercial pig, poultry and ruminant farms in the main towns of Sibu and Kuching.

Dr. Thomas Wong went into private practice in 1984 and was in City Veterinary Centre untill 2006. Currently a partner in Sarawak Veterinary Supplies and Country Veterinary Centre. His interests ranges from food animal production and health, emergent diseases, wildlife conservation, random reading, biking to stand-up comedies.

Exna plays a key role in the administration and operational aspects of Sarawak Veterinary Supplies and Country Veterinary Centre since their inception. She holds a MIM cert in Management and brings a wealth of experience to the trading, client relationship, supply chain management and financial operation of the companies. She handles most of the inquiries and logistics related to tender and quotation supply to government departments, semi-government agencies and commercial farms.

Dr Samuel Kiyui

 Dr Samuel Kiyui graduated wih a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1978 and completed a Masters in Environmental Management in 2005. He is an actively practicing veterinary surgeon and has been a veterinary trading and livestock development consultant since 1991, implementing the Integrated Livestock and Veterinary Public Health Master Plan study for Sarawak in 1997 as well as his involvement in numerous developmental studies in the state including the Mukah-Daro, Mid-Rejang, Rural Growth Centre’s development study, Miri Regional, Bintulu Regional, Community Forestry.

A member of the Rotary Club Kuching Central, he has served as the club president and District 3310 Assistant Governor. He is also a keen golfer and an outdoor enthusiast, enjoying road bike cycling and is a practicing yogist.
